Because these services span several beauty and wellness areas, it was essential for the salon’s website to communicate this diversity in a clear, professional, and visually coherent way. The primary goal of the project was therefore to establish a strong online presence for the salon by effectively reflecting its mission, vision, and values, while also presenting its varied services in an accessible and engaging format.

Shortcomings in online presence and need for a new website

Before the project began, the salon already had a website that was highly outdated and no longer represented the business properly, either visually or strategically. The services were not presented in a sufficiently clear or visually appealing manner, the salon’s advantages and strengths were not effectively highlighted, and the contact information was less transparent and user-friendly than it is today.

Replacing the previous, less intuitive interface, the new website features clearly organized services complete with comprehensive descriptions and essential information. By pairing transparent value propositions with a more intuitive contact structure, we’ve made the entire visitor experience – from finding information to scheduling an appointment – simple, fast, and crystal clear.

It is essential to recognize that for a business in the beauty industry – or indeed any service provider – a website is far more than just an information portal; it is a vital tool for building trust. Prior to development, we conducted extensive preparatory work, including competitor and S.W.O.T. analysis, along with a segmentation, in order to better understand the salon’s market environment, target group, and communication opportunities. These strategic analyses informed not only the content and functional priorities of the project, but also the foundation of the broader design direction. As part of the design process, we created a mood board and a creative brief to provide professional guidance on visual communication and design language, in collaboration with the staff of the salon.

Identity, visual language, and custom graphic elements

The specific needs of GG Szépségstúdió’s primary target group were carefully considered. Consequently, the resulting visual language is conveying a soft, feminine, and welcoming character that perfectly aligns with the experience of beauty care and personalized attention. The design is built upon a subtle, powdery-pink color palette, elegant typography, and harmoniously arranged sections.

The project also included the creation of custom graphic elements. The delicate illustrations were designed using a "line art" style. This light, sensual, and clean visual language is organically linked to the salon's atmosphere, elegantly supporting the feminine aesthetic. These soft-lined graphic elements ensure that the website remains visually cohesive, recognizable, and compelling.

Information Architecture, Usability, and Responsive Experience

The intuitive navigation and logical structure allow users to find information quickly and effortlessly, ensuring a seamless experience without unnecessary searching. Key details such as opening hours, address, phone numbers, email, and social media links are prominently displayed and also available on a dedicated contact page. The site also features a gallery and a blog – dynamic content that provides an authentic look into the studio’s daily life, latest work, and beauty tips.

Responsive design was also a key priority, since the majority of users is likely to browse on mobile devices. Catering to modern browsing habits, the site delivers an optimal user experience across all screen sizes. Navigation, service cards, team profiles, gallery content, and blog posts all adapt smoothly to desktops, tablets, and and smartphones alike, providing seamless browsing experience for visitors.

Technical Implementation and Search Engine Optimization

The new website is built on WordPress, with a custom-coded theme using Tailwind CSS tailored specifically to the project’s visual and functional requirements. Content is dynamically generated using PHP and WordPress functions, while interactive elements are powered by Vanilla JavaScript to ensure smooth performance.

During development, we placed a strong emphasis on local Search Engine Optimization (SEO). We conducted a keyword research to ensure the salon achieves a competitive ranking for locally relevant searches.
