Graphics, website and marketing for Varázslótábor Nyíregyháza

Project scope and objectives

Varázslótábor Nyíregyháza is a Harry Potter-themed summer camp dedicated to bringing children into a playful, magical, and memorable universe. Our team designed visual and graphic assets that not only complemented the daily schedule, but directly enriched the camp's atmosphere and experiential character. Besides the graphic design work, we built an informational website to introduce the camp, share key details, and keep parents fully informed.

Visual storytelling and world-building

The primary goal of the creative concept was to connect the children with this magical world long before day one. To spark anticipation, we produced custom acceptance letters sent via traditional mail, complete with physical tickets for Platform 9¾. These tactile details built excitement and invited children into the story well ahead of their arrival. On opening day, attendees entered the grounds through an illustrated brick-wall installation, turning a simple check-in into a symbolic, playful transition into the wizarding world theme.

Graphic materials supporting the camp

The narrative of the camp was anchored by a wide variety of custom graphic materials, including worksheet illustrations, potion labels, house flags, garlands, photo booth props, and various decorative elements. These visual nuances made the fantasy world tangible and immersive for the children. To close out the week, we designed graduation certificates presented during a closing ceremony, reinforcing the camp’s narrative as a magical school experience.

Digital marketing and advertising

Beyond handling the visual and web design tasks, our team managed the camp’s online marketing communication. We ran targeted Facebook ad campaigns designed to raise local awareness, reach parents, and drive online registrations. Throughout the campaign rollout, we ensured that the advertisements did not just relay logistical information, but reflected the magical, experience-driven atmosphere of the camp itself.

Outcome and impact

The project's success was ultimately validated by the children's absolute enthusiasm and active participation.  The carefully designed visual environment played a major role in ensuring the camp felt less like a series of scheduled activities and more like an authentic adventure. The print materials, website, and digital marketing assets formed a cohesive system that supported audience outreach and event execution. Thanks to the ads and campaign communication, the camp generated exceptional interest – though our favourite metric remains the joy, smiles, and excitement of the children.
